LARA’S HEALING MODEL
-
Lara's work is focused on holistic well-being, covering the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of each person. She takes the time to understand her clients' main challenges, offering comprehensive support for their personal growth and self-compassion. Lara's aim is to empower her clients to rediscover their innate healing potential and connect with their body's wisdom.
-
Reiki has the remarkable ability to soothe both the nervous system and the mind. Through the collaborative efforts between client and practioner, a serene and tranquil space is discovered where stillness and peace prevail. This profound sense of peace often parallels the deep meditative states, akin to the alpha or even theta brainwave frequencies.
-
Lara employs diverse healing modalities like Craniosacral therapy, Acupuncture, and Reiki, combining mindful touch and emotional support to promote unhindered energy flow in the body. This process creates both physical and mental clarity, emotional transformation, spiritual awakening, and heart-opening experiences. The approach is rooted in Eastern medical traditions like Taoism and Buddhism, emphasizing the free flow of Qi or Universal Life force energy through various energy pathways.
-
"Wellbeing" is the sense of living (life) in divine alignment with one’s higher self. Lara wholeheartedly embraces the principles that she extend to her clients. Some of these fundamental beliefs involve staying attuned to the sensations within her body, maintaining a strong connection with the wisdom residing in her body and heart, and diligently releasing judgmental thoughts. The journey toward inner truth is the very essence of authenticity.
FURTHER BACK
Influenced by a prior career with some of New York’s most influential fashion labels, Lara found that a creative practice was a means to tap into inner wisdom, intuition and a higher spiritual path. During a decade of working and then studying in New York City, Lara noticed the epidemic of stress related dis-ease, anxiety, and emotional stress and how those mental states manifest in the physical body. In New York, she cultivated a Zen Buddhist meditation practice at The Mountains and Rivers Order established by the late John Daido Loori Roshi in Brooklyn. Her Zen Buddhist practice became a pathway to finding inner peace and accessing the wisdom latent in the body and mind through stillness and non-attachment. Residing in Los Angeles for nine years, she finds the same stillness in the natural beauty of California and works with natural elements such as clearing with plant wisdom, aromatherapy, minerals and earth rituals to support her clients in accessing inner peace and self-love through her healing work. Lara also cultivates a daily kundalini yoga and meditation practice.
Lara received her first Master of Science from Tri-State College of Acupuncture in (New York City) in 2014, and a second Master of Chinese Medicine from the Yosan University in California. Additionally she has earned certificates in Holistic Nutrition and Health, Cranio Sacral Therapy, Reiki, and Breathwork. Next to her studies and ever- expanding healing practice she managed Yogala a Yoga Studio in Echo park, Los Angeles for almost six years.
Since March 2023, Lara and her family lives at their new residency in Ojai, CA. She continues to welcome her patients and students at her private healing sanctuary, now embraced and sustained by the natural surroundings of the Ojai valley and its majestic mountains. Lara leads Reiki trainings and retreats and guided Breathwork ceremonies, baby & mama blessings, amongst other Integrative Healing events.
